Our Team

I was born and raised in Romania and in 2002 I gave up my French school plans for a fresh start in the US.

After many unsuccessful attempts to join a company as a computer technician, I learned web design and SEO and started to do home visits, helping people with their computer issues β€” that’s how PRO got started.

Florian Militaru

President & IT Consultant

Orignially from Milwaukee, WI, I moved to Chicago in 2012 and have been working in IT for over a decade.

I like to travel, garden, and learn about community development. I run marathons, and dream to one day complete all six World Marathon Majors courses.

Nick Plagman-Frank

Account Management & Business Development

A native Chicagoan, I became interested in computers when we got our Apple IIe. I started my own computer consulting company in 2002 and acquired my first employees in 2005. I sold Blu Lin IT to Protek-IT in 2023 and am happy to be a part of the team!

My lovely family, travel, and beach volleyball are my passions outside of work.

Matt Jarvis

IT Consultant

I settled down in the Chicago suburbs after 20 years of moving with the Air Force. My first introduction to working in the PC service industry was as a tech in Naperville for a little place called Tiger Direct. The friendships I created there led me into the world of MSP. IT and MSP services have been my passion for the last 20 years, and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else.

In my free time, I relax by playing PC games, miniature gaming with my son, asking my daughter to turn Taylor Swift down, and working on my Corvair.

Ross Camardo

Service Desk Manager

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh before moving to Chicago 12 years ago.

If I'm not out bicycling, I like to watch hockey (go Penguins!), dive deep into the New York Times crossword puzzle archive, or play tennis with my wife.

Andrew Flechtner

IT Support Specialist

I moved to Chicago in 2016 from a small town in Michigan to experience the fast-paced world of city life.

When I’m not saving the city from certain technological doom, you'll find me on a film set or at home creating videos, playing video games and watching YouTube.

Casey Brockway

Help Desk & On-Site Support Specialist

Originally from Estonia, I moved to the States in 2017.

I love PC gaming, not only for entertainment but for the invaluable skills it's given me, from strategy and problem-solving to decision-making and fostering persistence.

I also love reading myths and legends, exploring historical narratives to better understand how our ancestors interpreted the world.

Laura Sermus

IT Project Manager

I have lived in the suburbs of Chicago all my life.

I started using computers when I was four years old to play video games with my dad and my brother. Since then, I have been learning all there is to know about technology, and I enjoy helping others learn about it too.

In my free time, I enjoy playing PC games at the Esports level, playing guitar, and enjoying good food with my family.

Matthew Labuda

Junior IT Support Specialist

Originally from Ukraine, I moved to the United States in 2022 and have been enjoying every bit of it since. Some of my hobbies include pole dancing, making candles and pottery, and taking care of plants. I enjoy creating beautiful things, and I find that it helps me to clear my mind and stay focused.Β

Back in Ukraine, I started a small library with a collection of books that I am very proud of. My dream is to bring this library to the United States one day and share my love of Ukrainian literature with others.

Olha Kovaliv

Administrative Assistant

I am originally from Bulgaria and moved to the United States in 1996. Here, I've lived in New York, Pennsylvania and California.

I moved to Georgia in 1999. I love the south, the heath, the humidity, the trees, the sound of cicadas in the summer. I've been working in IT my whole life, and specialize in remote management and monitoring.

In my free time I try to keep my 4 year old son out of trouble, I also like working on DIY projects around the house.Β

Greg Barsky

Systems Administrator

I was born in Romania and moved to the US in the search of the American Dream. I like going to the botanical garden to unwind, camping and roller-skating.

As a kid, my biggest dream was to have so many CDs that I would run out of places to put them. Now, I’ve upgraded my dreams to be the best IT professional that I can be.
